SignLab runs choppy

All of a sudden SignLab runs as though Snap to Grid is turned on, but it's not.

Anyone else have that problem and figure out why?

Disk space and memory are fine.

Thanks for any ideas.

do you surf the internet from the machine sign lab is on? if so then a trojan or virus is probably a good bet.

Thanks Guys, sorry I didn't give more info, but it just came from nowhere... but I found the problem. AVG "Resident Shield" was turned on and taking all the recourses.

Time to upgrade computers again.

I recently had a problem with Adware update, found the problem by accident during a task list visit, similar to what your problem was, searched the web for the solution, and problem solved. My computer was so slow I could try to access or open something, go to bed for the night, and maybe it'd be open in the morning. Well, something like that.

Drop the anti virus and disconnect your work computer from the internet...

I don't run anti virus... I also don't "surf" random sites.
I get very annoyed with slow computers, so I keep mine with the beefiest of parts, and I keep anything from running in the background that would possibly slow it down and anti virus ALWAYS slows any computer down.
