Signtools Error - Really Need help - Tech Support isn't helping

I am getting a HPGL Error 2 on my cutter.
I have a Designtech60 cutter, which is a Graphtec ce3000-60.

I am using Corelx3 and Signtools 3.

Connecting via a USB cable, about 10 feet long, brand new.
I have it connected through a USB hub and not into the computer, if that matters. I had it connected to the computer directly but got the same error.

It starts cutting and then I get the HPGL Error message and it stops.

I don't know what to do and I sent a email to Signtools 4 days ago and another one 2 days ago, with no replies.

switched to a parallel cable and it worked. now i just need a longer one.

you updated you cutter list and youare runing all patches for signtools 3
which is 8.1 or 3.25 ,also running corel x3 sp2?
