Question Silver Medal vs. Silver Medal 2

Hey guys, quick question regarding Gerber Medal foil series.
Is there a difference between regular silver medal and silver medal 2 foil?

I think, not 100%, but one or the other can only be used a a "top" foil and cannot be printed onto/over?

Silver medal I is no longer sold and hasn't been since Silver Medal II was released. Silver medal 1 was a top color only and you couldn't print over it. Silver medal 2 can be printed on top of. For example print silver medal with transparent blue to get a blue medal color.

Silver medal 2 you can print regular color on top of it, like a regular white, same, older silver medal didnt accept this, so its and improved version the 2nd one, easy when you design not to break your brain.
