SJ540 Sheet Setup Problem

Hey all.

I have an SJ540 and when I first try to set up the sheet the carriage travels all the way down comes back and says W:53.5" no matter what size media is loaded in the machine.. It's not a huge problem as long as we pay attention in our RIP to layout properly, but I am anal and I want to fix it. Any ideas??

Clean the reflective foil strip first with Alcohol and lint free cloth.

While it was not the foil strip it is fixed now!!!

I ran a sensor check in service mode which resulted in 3.6V of noise from the paperside sensor.. A half hour later the sensor was cleaned and reinstalled, resulting in 0.02V of noise and a printer that can see again!!!
