Smudged Letters

I'm having printing Majenta, letters are smudgy. Printing with SP Versacamm

It started a week ago, Head was changed in july

clean the encoder strip and do a nice thorough head cleaning. if not, try a head soak. most of the time it has been the encoder strip for me.

Banding and overspray. a nozzle check would probably show deflection and missing nozzles. causes for deflection are usually cleaning related, wipers, surge mist sponge, wiper scraper. Missing nozzles is more to do with the cap(s), drain line and dampers.

the horizontal banding is the ink supply problem, check the nozzel test, check the dampers.better to upload your nozzle test.
