software question

We asked your opinion on equipment earlier in the week and have received a lot of helpful information. I think we've decided on the Mimki machine. Now we have a question on the software. One person quoted us Onyx Postershop Rip and another quoted Finecut. Any opinions on software?

I use Flexi Sign Pro for my Mimaki printing.
It's powerful design software as well as rip software, but it also does well handling imported designs from Illustrator, Photoshop etc.

I was under the impression that Onyx was one of the more widely respected and powerful RIP software

If you already have Flexi Sign there is no need for additional rip software.
