Dear all,

I have been printing with waterbased printer for many years.
But due to the enquiries, I'm considering to purchase a used jv33-160 from my dealer.
Mostly I will use this for roll up banner, vinyl and removable sticker.
I went online and saw there are 3 types of ink for this printer.
SS21, BS3 and ES3
I can't find any more information about what they stand for and what's the difference betwwen on mimaki's website.
Could anyone explain to me a bit abou it?

Also, what should I focus on when I look at this machine?
The dealer has 4 of them on hand and I only need 1 so I need more information about how to check these machines.
Of course, since they are used, they don't come with warranty.

Thanks
Aaron

How much are you saving as opposed to buying a new one?

- Check the condition of the printhead, dampers, ink lines, capping station and pump to name a few.

- Make sure your dealer performs a "test draw" in front of you so you can see the current condition of the head.

- We use the SS21 inks and are very happy with it (problem free). Can't vouch for the other types.

I'm sure there's a few things I missed and someone else will cover and chime in.
