Quit buggin' me
Is mold going to be an issue because of the flooding?
... been seeing on the news that it's a problem in Florida after Ian. One of those after effects ya don't really think about right away when you're lucky to have walls at all.
I don't think the mold is going to be an issue. I've already trained it to weed vinyl and I think it can learn to run the laminator.
The big issue is humidity - it is off the scale right now. All the paper backing on my vinyl is wrinkling up making it hard to print and cut. Was checking to see if the ink was draining during cleaning and I found droplets of water condensing on all the drain tubes. Had enough emergency work to run it for a few days so I think it is drying out (at least a little).
Recovery is going slow. Water and power are still on the wish list but it shouldn't be too much longer. Gas lines have been crazy. People line up and wait up to 14 hours to get fuel. We had to set up some 'Emergency Responders Only' a-frame signs at one station and they had SWAT controlling access. They seemed to love us for the signs, thinking people would stop yelling at them (didn't work). Police escort the tankers for all deliveries. Think the panic has peaked, stations are reopening, lines are getting shorter.
