SP-300 question

My SP-300 usually runs perfectly but whenever I let it sit for a day or two it appears the heads are dry.

I manually lower the capping station and with a syringe add a little of the cleaning solution to each cap top.

Once I raise the capping station I connect a syringe to each line and draw some ink and then do a test print.

This printer has always used only Roland Eco Solvent inks.

What would cause the heads to go dry within a day or two?

when is the last time you replaced the cap tops?

Cap tops were replaced within the past two months.

Think that could be the problem?

It's cheap enough to replace them again if you think that might be the problem.

When you manually raise the capping station do you raise it tight or just a little snug?

I have never had a reason to raise mine manualy - if I did it would refer to the service manual

possibly when they were replaced something didn't sit quite right.
