Suggestions SP-300V status not connected

My SP-300V was printing fine yesterday and today I receive an error message that the printer is not connected.
I have tired changing USB ports and restarting the computer without any success.

Next I was going to order a new Belkin Pro Series USB 2.0 cable and see if that corrects the problem.
I am using Windows 10 and was wondering it maybe an updated driver might correct the problem.

What for you advice.

Problem solved. It was the USB cable that went bad.

A fast trip down to a store for a new one for $7.00 bucks and I was back in business again.
