Hi, Yes. I've had no luck with any VW settings. I've tried all the menus on the Versacamm. I've even checked on the SERVICE MENU. I've uninstalled and reinstalled software/drivers... Tried a new install on laptop which had no previous version of VW on it. Had the back of and cleaned motherboard connections. Tried everything I can think of. If I run a print/cut alignment test, it will print and cut. As I said in previous post, there must be a simple solution that I cannot see.
The first place to look is in under SETTINGS ---> CUT CONTROLS ---> OPERATION MODE and see if it is set to CUT or PRINT & CUT.
There are also some check boxes you can select under OPERATION MODE to modify what it will cut. You should be creating cut lines in whatever software you are using to do your artwork in. If not you can get it to cut all vectors in the file, as an example...
If it is set to cut but still you cannot cut, got to EDIT ---> QUEUE A (or B) SETTINGS ---> CUT CONTROLS ---> OPERATION MODE and see if it is set to CUT or PRINT & CUT.
If the CUT or PRINT & CUT is greyed out, go to MEDIA ---> MEDIA EXPLORER ---> select you media and double click ---> on the left under MEDIA SETTINGS ---> choose CUT CONTROLS ---> check ENABLE CUTTING.
If this is greyed out, you can edit the profile but you have to edit a copy, not the original. ^ Use the above to choose your media then ---> right click COPY MEDIA (there is also an icon above the profile list) ---> rename your media copy ---> then go to the new copy at the bottom of the list ---> select you media and double click ---> on the left under MEDIA SETTINGS ---> choose CUT CONTROLS ---> check ENABLE CUTTING.
Try these and update us...
