SP-300v Versaworks 5.5.1 Problem

Having a problem a second SP-300V printer connecting to my versaworks The printer is running eco sol max inks, When you turn the printer on it says E-sol max 4 Colour,
But when I try and connect it as a new printer to versaworks It recognises the printer however it says the current version of Roland Versaworks does not support the ink you are using update roland versaworks
version 5.5.1 is the most up-to-date version
Pulling the cartridges in and out I still have the same problem The software on the printer is version 7.3

FYI, the last firmware version is 7.40 and you can download that at the download center.
you really should not be having an issue.
all seems correct.
go to the Versa Works folder and re-initialize Versa works, and then just reinstall the printer, it should work

Dont update past 5...i dont think the sp-300v will work at all. This happens to me when versaworks loses the connection to my 300v (vw says incompatible ink error)...i have to go up to Printer/printer settings and basically reverify the usb connection, then all works for about 2 weeks or so.

When you initially instal a new printer to versaworks for the first time, it need to talk to the ink installed, after a successful instal you can use any ink even ink without a chip, for me on this 2nd printer is it's the initial install every time i verify i get the same message about the ink using genuine eco Sol Max
