SP-540 Problems

Hey Guys,

I have a SP-540 and a XC-540. the sp will not read crops marks. it doesnt even try it just prints them then goes to cutting without reading. also the cut has been off and when i fix it. it will work the first time then go back to being off sometimes way off. different areas throughout the printer. any suggestions >

For the first year of owning our VS-540 we had trouble of the head not finding the crop marks or being off on the cut.
It seems the pentometer (no, I don't know how to spell) would not hold in place and would spin out of adjustment.
