SP-540V - Ink Filling?!?

Hello All...

I'm in need of some help/advise.

I have a Roland SP-540V, which I have replaced the Black head, but now the display screen keeps saying 'Ink not filled', and asks me to remove some of the cartidges, and replace with cleaning cartridges, but I dont have cleaning cartridges.

I managed the to do a test print in service mode, and everything looks great. But when I go into normal mode, I get the same message.

Is there any way I could by-pass this, and start printing?

try to fill the ink in service mode. I don't think it will ask you to put in the cleaning cartridges.

If you can get in service mode, you should be able to go to ink set and choose max 4. Hit enter, then reboot in user mode, should take care of it. It's probably set to unknown in service mode.
