SP540V to SC545EX comparison

Thinking about upgrading by the end of the year. Has anyone made this jump? Please comment on the differences other than speed.

i changed over last jan. speed and 6 color.....i love mine. speed is major if your printing alot.

SC545s are no longer available, so if you are looking at new printers, the XC-540 PRO III is the latest top-of-the-line printer/cutter. The XC is about 4-5 times faster than the SP-540V and 3 times faster than the latest 54" VersaCAMM, which is the VP-540.

Sorry I meant the PRO 3. So, its just speed & the take up reel?
