sp540v versacamm windows xp pro

I just purchased a used sp540v over the weekend .... i watched it print before i bought it .... i also got the cat5 cable that was used to connect to their computer which im told is a crossover cable... im trying to run it from flexisign pro 7.6 and im have issues trying to connect.... every video i've watch on it tells me to enter the tcp/ip address into the printer also but im not seeing that option on the printer.... any help would be greatly appreciated
