Spotty Prints... Mutoh VJ1204

Hello all! As always thank you in advance for your help. This forum has always been invaluable!

I'm currently running a Motoh VJ 1204. I do a lot of solid one or two color prints usually around 4 ft. by 8ft. I've been having trouble lately with spotting issues where it seems the ink isn't being laid down as thick and it looks faded. I've attached a couple photos below. I clean it regularly and have a near perfect Nozzle Check. I'm not sure if it is my media or the profile / software I am using.

I'm currently using third party inks JetBest Eco Series w/ FlexiSign 8.6.

By the looks of it, it appears to be the media.
Hard for the printer to produce a pattern like that.
That would be my guess

- oily/dirty spots or touched by fingers - ink does not adhere properly
