Starving for data

Soi ran a 13' four color set of decals the other day.. By the 3rd color the Edge2 began starving for data, I figured by the 4th color I'd be in trouble so I hit reset and resent the job only this time sent the last color only. It worked fine but was a pain. What can we do to ensure the machine doesn't starve for data? Thanks

Starves for data as in , vinyl pauses... Foil keeps spooling syndrome

Had something like that happen on an Edge LE years ago... turned out to be a bad cable.. had too severe of a bend behind the counter and it eventually developed a bad spot. tried a lot of things before that but replaced the cable as sort of a last ditch effort... worked fine with a new one... put the old one back on the problem returned....
