Stencil material for Glass etching

Its been quite a few years since I've done some glass etching and one of our local glass companies needs us to cut some stencils for them. I hate to buy a whole roll of stencil for a tiny job that isn't going to be carved, just etched.

I used to just cut Gerbermask and it was fine for standard etching.

Has anyone used it also, or maybe just a piece of laminated calendared vinyl as a resist?

I did these pieces with just GerberMask and it held up fine even for the deeper blasting.

I have used Oracal 651 with good results for small projects.

Thanks mark-s.

I thought I could take some 651 and laminate it for a little extra thickness and run with it.

Its just a very simple 6" x 6" geometric logo and some 2.25" tall Trajan Bold text reading: Ancestor Room

Sign vinyl works well. I could shoot you a piece of 15" sprocket punched Hartco 310 (10 mil.) if need be.
