Strange Noise After Replacing Cap Top on CJV150

Hi everyone,


I recently replaced the cap top on my Mimaki CJV150, and now there’s a strange noise coming from the machine during operation. Is this noise normal after replacing the cap top, or could it indicate an issue with the installation?


Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check to make sure the cap is oriented properly and sitting level. The printhead carriage will bump the capping station during normal operation, but it shouldn't be touching anything but the bump stops on the right-hand side. It shouldn't be bumping the cap itself. They are a bit fiddly to get right, so be patient and note that there might be some adjustment needed.
