Strange stripe on heads SP300i

Today I started printing and got real bad banding. Looked at the heads on both had a stripe like the picture shows on them. Cleaned, did a nozzle check (all ok again) and started printing again. After about 1 feet same problem. Looked at the heads and the stripes were back.

Could this be the whipers touching the printheads?

I think I found the problem. Looked like there was a little residu of sticky material with dust in the path of the heads. Cleaned all well and fingers crossed.
