Hi all
have been dong some research on dye sub printing duringwhich I have noted the use of polyester material fort shirts etc . I havelso read that it is possible to use a mix of poly cotton. What I can't seem to fnd is detail on the best ratio mix of these two to give the best results. Or is the best option 100% poly
thanks

For your absolute best results you are going to want to use light color 100% synthetic fabrics (poly being the most common).

It is possible to print on a blend, but after washing the image can get duller as the ink doesn't properly adhere to the natural fibers. So it really depends on if you are going to want to go with the faded effect or not.

Hi, Perhaps we can help. Like others have already stated, 100% polyester is the way to go. Sublimation ink will only attach (and show on) light colored polyester fibers. If you have a blended garment (part poly, part cotton) the sublimation ink will not attach to the cotton fibers and after washing the image will look faded.
