Does this sound feasible. I have some decals to print that require silver components. In the past I have just printed on plain vinyl and cut silver bits from seperate media and slipped them in and then clear laminated over the top.
It works but its time consuming and prone to misalignment.
I have considered buying a new printer that prints white and silver as well as CMYK. But it is expensive and my service guy says these printers are a lot of trouble and need to be used every day.
So, I thought to myself. What about swapping the black cartridge for a silver cartridge. Would have to do some print runs to get the silver flowing through but no big deal. I could then do the special prints and after that revert back to black and do some more all black prints to clean the head out.
Anyone got any ideas on this??
Cheers
