suggestion needed

Hi,

I have a friend opening up a barbershop (ie. picture) I had suggested him to look in to considering a scroll bracket, to hang an aluminum sign on. But it seems he also has in mind placing a sign board, such as alumilite or MDO, on the front above the windows. The black rectangular box is where he seems to want it placed on.

My concern is since this is an old house, that will be used a business, what sort of fastners could i use to mount the sign on the wood?

Thanks

welcome

easiest way is to make a frame then find the studs behind the facade and screw through the frame, into the studs. mount the sign to the frame
