We have a good sized window graphic job to produce and we ordered this material from a place named bdfgraphics up in Vancouver.
They were the only supplier we could find for it and while the material looks nice and seems pretty cool to work with from the small test pieces we've tried, it is not a bear to cut and weed, it is a Grizzly bear to cut and weed.
I've tried cutting it on our Gerber P2C1200 with a 45 and am waiting for a 60 degree blade to arrive and on our VersaCamm with both the 45 and the 60 degree blades and two things are happening. We have to jack the force up so high to get a clean cut, its cutting through the liner or barely scratching the surface.
Another weird thing is that we'll get a good test cut out of a certain pressure, then when we try to cut some of the job, its either way too much pressure or not enough.
Has anybody worked with this material yet and if so, any ideas on how you got it cut consistently?
