Need Help Summa Barcode Workflow

I’m trying to create a fully automated barcode workflow for a Summa S3 tangential cutter and can’t seem to find a solution.

Our setup uses Caldera RIP to send cut files to a folder as a directory. Summa GoSign’s barcode workflow successfully scans the barcode, finds the correct file, and opens it without issue.

The problem is that after opening the file, the cutter positions the camera all the way to the far right instead of moving to the first registration mark. Because of this, I have to manually jog the head to the first mark for every print, which breaks the automation.

I’m trying to figure out how to make the cutter automatically move to the first mark after the barcode is scanned so the workflow can be truly hands-free. I haven’t been able to find a clear answer on any forums—has anyone solved this?

Make sure the "Search regmarks" action is properly configured in your action set in GoSign.

What do you need Gosign for?
You can do barcode straight from Caldera.

We have been using gosign an really like it for the most part, it gives us a lot of control over the Cutting vs cutting with Caldera which we used to do. I double checked and Search Regmarks is working properly. What's interesting is I found a video showing the workflow is possible I just don't know how it's configured Workflow Video Here

It's the same amount of control. use caldera cut server.

We use it on 2x S3 160TC's each cutter does 100-150m of stock per day.

set the summas up in the wondows app, set up the profiles etc. on each summa you can then go in on the screen and make changes. once set, you dont need to touch them. or you can load right from caldera.
