Summa D160 error

Hello community. I come to you with a problem related to the Summa d160 machine. Yesterday when I started the machine, the oppos sensor did not check the pinch rollers. It went all the way, turned around, unrolled the paper and that was the whole process. If I wanted to cut something directly from illustrator, I have to set the cutting blade exactly to the edge of the paper because it no longer measures. Can you help me with a solution?

Hi Alex - First thing I would check is if the "Autoload" feature is turned off. You can check this in Summa Cutter control without having to load any material into the cutter. Just leave the pinchrollers in the up position, make sure no media is loaded and turn the cutter on. Once it's on, you can communicate with the cutter via Summa Cutter control. Navigate to the general settings and find the parameter called "Autoload" and make sure it is on.

If it is on, I would do a factory reset of the cutter from service mode. To do this, turn the cutter off, then while holding the (left arrow, right arrow and enter key all together at the same time) power on the cutter. Keep holding those buttons until the LCD says "Standard Init". At that point, use the right arrow to toggle to "Special Init" and press the enter key. This will bring to the "home screen" (make sure no vinyl is loaded). From here go to settings and find the factory reset option and hit enter. Last step once that is completed is to reboot the cutter and load media to see if it loads properly.
