Summa F1612 0,5'' PVC routing

Hi,
I'm new. I just start work at the sign shop. I need to cut 0,5''PVC on summa F1612 and my question is. If i choose in the default settings 0,512 and PVC is 0,5 does it mean it will go through the matt? After 3 weeks guy who normally operates the summa went for vacation so I have to do this and he told me to not change anything. So I guess if I go with his setting everything should work. I'm using a bit 590-9864. Any suggestions I would appreciate. Just don't want to drill hole in the table LOL.

I'd be less concerned about your media thickness that you select and what your down position is set to. If anything selecting a slightly thicker media will just result in more passes, assuming it will default to multi-pass.

Are you using a sacrificial mat / spoilboard between the conveyor belt and your 1/2" PVC?

Otherwise, that stuff will cut like butter once you get going.

Yes I have a mat under the PVC. I can change to multi-pass too.
