Summa Flexcut issue with SAi

Hey guys.

I have a Summa s2 160 t and I'm trying to contour and perf cut from SAI.

I have created the contour lines, chosen different colours, have the contour set to Tangential and the perf which is a different colour set to Flexcut Accurate.

The flexcut mode is OFF on the cutter.

However, when I send the job the cutter seems to just cut a normal cut and the Flexcut settings are ignored.

Setting Images are attached. Any help would be amazing, I'm sure it's something and nothing.

Does the cutter cuts both line colours?

If yes, check the communication settings of your cutter. Could be that „tool commands“ is set to „ignore“.

Your question should be placed better into Summa or Flexi-Category.

I had a similar problem recently with Flexi and a new HP Summa cutter. I currently have the flex cut set to "Cut Through" and not "Cut Through Default". I then have my flex cut settings on the cutter. Oddly, the Kiss Cut setting works with the default setting in Flexi. Hope that helps.

Are you defining your Flex Cut lines in Red?? The Flex Cut feature only cuts red lines and nothing else...
