The Summa S2 is an incredible machine, no question about it. But sometimes you are trying to cut stiff or up-curled material without using the center pinch rollers. With the center pinch rollers raised, the lever on the back of the pinch rollers hangs down slightly and can collide with the end of the material you are cutting. When this happens, the rollers slap down and the material can get knocked out of alignment. Here is how I avoid the problem with a temporary "fix" that doesn't hurt the machine and takes just moments to install / remove:
