SummaCUT D620

Hello everyone,


I bought and old Summacut D620, I know this machines , they are really work-horse, that´s why I purchased it.

But I have this communication problem, when I try to connect it with summa cutter control (latest version) appears this:

"could not detect baurate"

My RS-232 cable is OK, because I can cut from Flexi sign once time, then the Summa´s control panel remain block it. If I send a second file from flexi, the plotter cuts fine , with inconvenient of blocked panel.

So, I can´t change force, speed, etc. because there is no communication between the plotter and summa cutter control

If anyone have any idea or suggestion I will apreciate it. I was thinkin , maybe and older version of summa cutter control could be the solution.

Have you checked you serial port settings baud rate to make sure it matches the baud rate on the plotter itself?
