Superfrog before cutting?

Hey all - I have an edge print job for exterior application that has some complicated weeding elements to it - my question is have any of you tried to apply superfrog frog juice before cutting? I suppose I could just try it, but I don't want to waste the hour (spray, clean, dry, cut)

Thanks,

Jesse Hill

I used to use a similar product and always sprayed after cutting and before weeding. There was a small tendency for it to fuse together which increased the difficulty of weeding it.

About two years ago I switched to Duracoat UV Abrasion Guard foil ad have never regretted it. Great product. No smell - no special steps - just print it like any other color.

cut part is not printed part

The problem is that the printed part is only in the middle of the design, which is only a circle contour cut, but there are small letters going around the whole design (past the printable edge area of 11.5 inches). I am afraid that if I spray after cutting, they will fuse back into the vinyl. I usually weed when the frog juice is still wet, which takes care of that problem, but I think that the weeding is too complex to do wet this time. I guess I will just try spraying and drying the glosscoat before weeding, and see if it works. I will post the results.

Thanks,

Thought about that, but if I use spraymask, Im afraid of lift off, and if I just use a nonstick frisket (circle cut out of matteboard or something, there is inevitable overspray (actually underspray)
