Hello everyone!

My name is Madeline and I work for a design-build upholstery company in downtown Cincinnati. Several years ago we purchased a brand new Epson SureColor R05070 to experiment with textile printing. We had some luck, but we rarely use it and the cost of ink and maintenance does not outweigh the profit, as we haven't had the chance to use it for business purposes. We would like to sell it, is anyone interested? As we rarely use it, it does need some maintenance (possibly a clogged head or cap), but I definitely don't think it's un-repairable. We are thinking of asking $7000 (purchased new for $18,995 in 2021), but we are very open to negotiating--it would clear a lot of space if we could get it out of here.

We want it off our hands because it currently just takes up space and is a resource that we don't have the time or need for, but we were hoping someone who actually works in the printing business and has more knowledge about these machines would want it. If not, we will probably just end up taking it to the landfill which I really don't want to happen as I think it still could be of great use. If you are interested, feel free to message me at mgarrett@orange-chair.com. Anyone is more than welcome to come take a look at it.

Thanks!

Again, my email is mgarrett@orange-chair.com

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
This is in the bids wanted section...

Also, posting emails in forums is a crazy good way to get tons of unwanted spam as it's indexed by search engines.

Also, being a 5-year-old machine with a potentially bad head is a big gamble at that price. Might be worth having a tech at least verify the head as working. Caps are relatively cheap; heads are easily in the 4-digit range. If it's just a cap and an easy fix, get it running and, then the price will be more than fair.

Heads are $400-600 and user replaceable on these.

But I agree, get it fixed and sell it if it's not running perfectly... Otherwise no one will take it.
