Test cut Flexi

Hello, in Omega I can send a test cut to the plottter and it will do a triangle and square around it. It’s a way to make sure my cut settings and knife are correct.

Can that be done in SAI Flexi ? If so any video tutorials ?

In Production Manager, you will see Test Cut function under your device drop-down menu.

Wow I have Graphec and just use the test cut function.

Be sure you have the correct Blade specified.
If you are cutting spot colors with a 15 Blade your triagles are going to be messed up

I use a 15 on laminated prints and have 5 blade holders
1x Intermediate Vinyl
1x for Thin HP Vinyl
1x for Int print with Int Lam
1x for Int Print with HP Lam
1x for IJ180cv3 with 8519 HP Lam

IJ180cv3 cuts perfectly wit the blade for Int Vinyl

I have the list on the cutter next to the control Panel
Once you set up the blade, down force, and Speed that it
On the graphtec just go to the conditions menu and select.
Quick, Reliable and saves a lot of time on a busy day

I like the aluminum blade holders off eBay $20
But ONLY OEM Blades. generic blades are a huge waste of time and money.

I usually use Omega with this cutter and been cutting 20 mil decals for over 5 years now.

mil just trying to kiss cut from Flexi 21 and the test cut for some reason won’t use my settings in production manager. I’m gonna try making a shape in Flexi designer and send it from rip and cut after I set up the force there and see if that works better.

Flexi will default to "Cut Fast" in Rip and print, Cut/Plot or production manager. Make sure you set that to none, or you can pick a condition all ready set up on the plotter itself when you send the job.
