School must be close to getting out. We had our first job seeker yesterday. He stood outside our door and shouted 'ARE YOU HIRING!?'

While I only said 'no' I should have said 'we don't hire those too lazy to even come inside to ask.'

I will have to remember that for the next one.

I remember watching my old boss on the telephone one day doing something similar.

A job seeker called to ask if were hiring, and the boss simply said "no" and then politely hung up.

The boss told me that even if he had been looking for help, he wouldn't have hired the schmuck since he (job seeker) was too lazy to even show up and exhibit a little ambition.
