Thoughts on Mutoh Valuejuet 2638x

Looking to get thoughts from anyone with any real world experience in the Mutoh Valuejet 2638x. I currently have an hp fb700 that only gets used for running 8’ wide banners with its roll option. However, it’s getting to the point where I am just throwing a ton of money at it to try to keep it running. Rather than spending 200-300k on a new hybrid flatbed, I came across the Mutoh in the mid 30k range and wondering if that may be a suitable option. I have other roll / flatbed printers already, so this would primarily be used for running our large banners only. Thanks for the help.

Valuejet 2638x could be a good choice, but in this business (large banners) you can consider the Mimaki SWJ-320EA (best price on ink), and you can extend your products range with tarpaulins and seamless wallpapers.

You can get a Chinese 10ft for under 20k delivered with USA support. Friend just bought a 10ft kingjet, 2 Epson i3200 heads, $30/ liter ink. Incredible printer for banners

We run a Valuejet 2638x and love it. Mostly run banner on it and most everything else on HP Latex. It is around 5 years old and have only had to do routine maintenance items.
