I have a customer who wants to build a triangle shaped trade show display with a 2 signs attached on each sign. This will need to be about 5' wide on each side and 12' high. anyone ever did anything like this? was thinking of using pvc and filling the base with concrete

Are you shipping the display or is it local? If shipping, the concrete is going to jack up your shipping charges. Same with the PVC if you could use Gator instead.

Is this going in a typical 10x10 booth space? Or is it part of a larger booth?

Are they reusing the display and graphics?

Any way you could post an image of your idea? I'm having difficulty picturing it from the description. What is in my mind is something like a 5x12 triangular monument sign in the middle of a booth, am I wrong? I'd be happy to throw out any ideas once I have a clear picture of what they are looking for.

Hmmmm Concrete base at a trade show doesn't sound like a good idea.

Have you looked at the trade show distributors sites to see if they offer something close that you wouldn't have to engineer yourself?

Most exhibit houses have something like the DisplayOne bannerstands that you can get in a triangular configuration. Then it'd just be a matter of attaching the signs. If you definitely want the rigid signage, velcro or zip ties are commonly used.

If you are reusing, you could also try modular aluminum display stuff like FOGA or Octanorm. We use FOGA a ton and it could be used for that pretty easily with velcroing the graphics to the face of the build. You wouldn't need extra weight as the footprint is wide enough that it would stay put just fine.
