Trying to re-create this..

This is part of a logo we are trying to re-create. Any advice on how to get this effect using CS4??

this look really isn't too hard to do. shouldn't take more than 30 minutes honestly.

The plus sign and the letters look like bevel and emboss with a black stroke along the outside edge. The blue back ground also has a bevel and emboss. The larger light blue high light on the back ground was probably drawn in.

You need to have the cross, the text and the oval each on it's own layer in Photoshop. You would then apply Layer Effects to each layer for the beveling and the shadowing.

I Just wasn't sure how to get the shadow part in the blue...

you need to do a fade on the blue then add a bevel effect to it and play with the the levels on the shading

isn't the inner shadow just that a layer style - Inner Shadow at -49 degrees
