Hi, I think I need to replace the cap top and cap slider on my CJV30-130. The left magenta channel stopped printing. Multiple 99 minute nozzle cleans and hard and soft cleaning didn't fix it. Last time this happened, I think the tech replaced the cap top and cap slider. They can't come out for 2 weeks and I have orders to fill. I'd like to do this myself. Are there tutorials or instructions I can reference to do this myself? Any help is appreciated.

Do you have a new cap top?
I've attached a pdf showing how they reckon you should do it.
I don't turn the machine on. Just slide the head off the cap station.
Wear rubber gloves if you don't like ink on your hands.
Push the cap down and across to pop it up.
Unplug the 2 tubes from under the cap top.
Put the tubes into the new cap. Make sure the nipples are dry or the tubes can easily slip off.
Put the blue stopper on the 3rd hole.
Put it all in place. Properly.
Don't touch/squish the rubber seal if you can help it. It needs to be 100% in good shape.
