UCJV300-160 Pinch rollers mark on a vinyl surface

Hi,
I print on different types on a vinyl surface (wallcoverings).

On some of the them pinch rollers leave tracking marks.

It is visible especially on light solid colors or light gradients.
I thought it was a fault of the material but I printed fragments of different graphics (dark colors, photos) on the same material batch one by one - the problem occurs only when print solid colors.

Pinch roller pressure is set on low.

I saw some ideas when it comes to ink hardening by temperature. How about UV? Is there any setting I can turn up?

As a last resort I will print only on 2 outer pinch rollers. However, this solution isn't satysfying for me - surface more easily folds etc.

Do you have any idea? Please help.

If your machine is older, replace the pinch rollers. I found that the crappy Amazon replacements are softer and last longer than the OEM’s. We smashed through the OEM pinch rollers in 3 months. These are held on by o rings, so Mimaki absolutely considers them a consumable.

I have seen this too. I have a JV150. It only does this I think for about the first foot of print. I tried lowering the wheels very slowly but the initial contact from the wheels leaves a dent in the vinyl and as far as I know, there are no pinch wheel pressure settings like I had on my CJV130. Never noticed this problem with the CJV130. It’s weird because on the JV150, you see the path of the rollers, like the ink printed differently there and make the path stand out more. And yes rollers are clean.
