1) Posting your email address in a publicly indexed forum is an amazing way to get a crazy amount of spam.
2) People who bump this thread are too lazy/stupid/incompetent to follow instructions. (Me included it seems.)
3) Not even an introduction? I mean, if you want to get something out of someone, at least buy them a drink first.
4) Service manuals are merely guides, and they are by no means all that useful for someone who's not worked on one of the printers before. They're written for techs by the Japanese Mimaki overlords and then badly translated into English for us techs to have to try and decipher. I actually have some manuals printed out so I can add countless notes to the things to correct errors or elaborate terribly written instructions.
5) Almost every person I send a manual to either never shows any
sign of gratitude or immediately launches into a 5-month long saga of asking me technical questions and then not bothering to listen to advice. "Hey, it's your subtank." "No, I think it's the ink valves." "Whatever." "Why am I still getting ink errors after replacing my valves? Can you send me the firmware, it must be that."
Can you tell it's been a long month?
As for the technical issue you listed of the technicians needing to drive 10 hours, I suggest some sort of aircraft-based transport. This is not something that the service manual covers.
