UCJV300 - 160 Service / Maintenance manual

If people cannot follow the most basic of instructions, then they probably shouldn't be opening up their printers. Service manuals are references; not how-to guides designed for DIY fixes. The info is damn helpful, but I have seen far too many people screw things up and ask me to clean up their mess on my own time for free.

Hi, I’m having trouble with my UCJV300-160. It’s showing error 61B [Failed to supply ink to the sub tank]. Any help would be appreciated, or a service manual to prepare for any future issues.

According to the service manual, the subtank failed to fill within the allotted time.

Yeah, it ain't super helpful for solving issues. It's a technical reference manual written for techs.

Not sure about the roll-to-roll, but my flatbed had the same error code. It could be anything in the ink supply circuit from the ink bottle to the subtank, including the float sensors. I checked my pumps, primary filters, ink lines for kinks, and float sensors and it turned out to be one of the valves. Replaced it and we're back in business.
