UJF-6042 MkII - Fading Help

We have had issues lately when printing on our kebab. Latest example is with glass candles, will do 4 at a time and some turn out fine while others have vertical fading to varying degrees.

Media: Transparent PET
Tried testing 600x600 VD and 1200x1200 VD
LD1 does not seem to help.
Wiping with denatured alcohol on a clean room cloth before printing.

The issue seems to be worse when there is solid blocks of color. On thinner designs you can’t tell.

Attached are examples of the varying degrees of print quality we are getting. Some are fine others are not.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've had something similar happen and shaking all of the color ink bottles followed by an ultra level cleaning seemed to work. That said, it could just be a coincidence that this worked and it actually sorted itself out since it was my impression the colors never needed shaking, (just the white). Also, my inks were very close to expiration at the time, so, that could have been a factor as well. Anyway, it could be worth a try.

Glass is highly irregular so it is possible that height is changing and thus changing the overall appearance of the color laydown.
