UJF-6042 MkIIe - Leveling the machine/table

I'm working with the new to me MkIIe and I need to make some adjustments and the manual for that section seems to be lacking in vocabulary that's understandable by me.

When I got the machine, the table spacers were all individually jacked to different levels. Odd, I thought.

I have a precision level that's .0002" per 10", and I leveled the linear bearing rails to less than .0002" per 10" on both rails, and across them, so I know my rails are incredibly straight. I screwed all the table spacers in tight, and when I check the distance between the table and the carriage, there's a variance across the table. Probably about 1/32" or so. I'm running a simple repeat job, for its first job, and it's 1/2" thick. When I put the material thickness at 1/2", when it pulls the table back in the machine to start, it triggers a couple of adjustments on the table height as it pulls it back to start printing. I think I have it set to .520" (or close to that) and it's still making that adjustment.

What I think I need to do is adjust those angled wedges that the rollers on the table ride on that makes the table go up and down. That's the correct adjustment for that, right?

I'm a bit confused because the manual just talks about going into the table adjust function and setting the table at 52mm then and then measuring a 2.5mm gap to the carriage. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing in the manual?

Can anyone clarify that I'm doing the right thing, and if so, perhaps a quick overview of it? I do have my machine set in inches (no problem converting if needed).

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
The gap is set mechanically between the head carriage and the table with a feeler gauge or similar. There are little Allen grub screws to lock the threads as well, so might need to loosen those first and tighten when satisfied. I believe there's even a couple Youtube videos that show the process. One of the easier procedures on that printer.
