UJF6042 MKI X motor stalled out the other day, got up to 140F degrees and started smoking. Shut it down and I've pulled the motor.
Service manuals say it's actually just an E300532 motor for the JV33 series, same pulley too. In fact M007619 is the JV33 motor with pulley but no one actually has this in stock anywhere.
So I have a spare bare E300532 motor coming tomorrow but no way to get the drat pulley off my burned out motor.
I have drilled out the set screw, and can get the shaft to spin free from the pulley - but now there is some kind of retaining clip holding the shaft in place. I think it's built into the M207793 "TN15-24 pulley" itself? Anyone know how to pull this thing off?
Backup plan is to see if Mimaki will sell just the pulley and set screw to put onto the bare motor.
For some humor the service manual ominously says: "As the fixing screw of the coupling to the X motor shaft is locked, it cannot be removed. Therefore, you cannot remove the X motor BKT. "
