Unable to change cut force on Roland VS540

This just happened at the end of last week and we thought we had overcome this issue. Our machine will allow us to change the cut force in the menu but when we send the job it reverts back to a lessor force of 90. I try to increase it on the menu to 165 and when the job is sent and appears to cut it it still cuts at 90 ( Our number for cuttable vinyl- the higher number is for printed and laminated). I went into the sub-menu and returned the machine to factory defaults and though I had corrected this. Google searches have generated no results so I am very confused and am deffering to the community for help. Thanks in advance, Mike

Yep, look in Versaworks and under the cutting options there is one to ignore the printer settings and use the one in VW instead. Make sure this isn't on and the printer should take the pressure you set on the menu screen

The laminated image we created was in Flexi and the sent to the Flexi production manager. I don't see cut force options available. I ended up placing a piece of masking tape over the cut strip and recutting it . It allowed me to get the 50 event stickers done and weeded. Thanks for the responses as I will now be aware of the source of the problem.

There is a menu item called cutting priority. Menu or command... standard setting is command, which means rip settings override machine settings.
