Unusual Folded Corrugated Plastic Signs

I have a customer with a large stock of very old signs that they would like to redo. They want the new ones to be made the same way because they have a large stock pile of the metal stakes that are used with these signs and they like the way they assemble and hold up.

I've been in the industry for 25 years and have never seen a corrugated plastic sign made like this so I am hoping you can help me find a better solution than doing these by hand, as I am looking at doing 25-50 of these at a time.

They are printed 4:0 on white 4 mm corrugated plastic with a flat size of 24" wide x 36.75" tall. They are then scored and folded in two locations so that they finish at 24"x18" with a .75" spine along the finished top.

The metal stake goes in the folded face through the opening at the bottom (much like the stake for a folded political sign does) but then the handle of the metal stake comes out of the top of the finished face. The folded face has a cut-out at the top, in the spine, to allow for the handle to come through. (See attached photos).

The folded sign is held together with four fasteners that look like grommets but seem much more heavy duty that the grommets I have experience with. I was unable to open the sample and it's much longer than my standard stock of grommets. (Again, please refer to photos.) What are these?

Have you seen signs made like these before? I can print the corrugated plastic signs but scoring, folding, cutting out the space for the handle and fastening them together is a lot of labor. Is there a wholesaler that specializes in these that I'm unaware of?

Thank you for your help!

The grommet looks like a long neck (or long barrel) grommet. Grimco has them.

A wholesaler like FireSprint should be able to produce the signs if you provide the score and cut patterns.

It looks like a long neck grommet is used to make a sandwich. Then wedged onto the frame

Measure the spacing / placement and "print" the registration marks, which will make placing the grommets much faster

FireSprint was a great recommendation -- thank you! They got me set up with an account within hours and had a reasonable quote back to me quickly. Thank you for the recommendation!
