Question Updating Roland Firmware I installed wrong one, What's Do I do now?

This is the most expensive hobby EVER!

I am brand new to installing firmware but i installed the wrong firmware on my board. I have had no luck getting the correct 5.xx series firmware does anyone have a download you could share with me? Below is AI Response I got. Anyone have any other suggestions?​

Public firmware (what you found)​

  • SP-300V / SP-540V
  • Versions 2.xx / 3.xx
  • EXE installers (USB)
  • Publicly downloadable

Restricted firmware (what you need)​

  • SP-540i (i-series)
  • Versions 5.xx
  • .BIN / .ROM
  • Loaded via PECK over Ethernet
  • NOT public
  • Distributed only by support or dealers
So when you say “Roland does not have it on their website” —
that is exactly how it’s supposed to be.
