Hello Sticky Richey here I was cutting some vinyl decals today, It was ok Speed at 500 and Pressure at 100 for one color, now I changed to another color and now it isn't cutting all the way thru but it go's all the way in some areas. Just wondered what I was doing wrong? The cutting strip has like cuts in it kinda tore up a bit.

Sounds like the cutting strip is bad. Try flipping it around for a temp fix

Vinyl

Are the brands of the vinyl the same? I've found that the house brand vinyls don't typically cut/weed near as good as orafol, avery, etc. I've got several house brand rolls here that I'll only use on jobs with 0 detail and even then they are a pain in the ***. Another thing, once that plotter has paid for itself, go ahead and step up to a roland, mimaki, graphtec, etc. You'll be amazed at the difference.
