I can get a good deal on a lightly used LX610.

I know one of the cons of this machine is the fact that you need to web the machine every time you run a job.

Can any users tel me the other Pros and Cons of this equipment ?

Hi Bob, thanks for your reply.
No, not yet, but I have inquired about it and it runs about 5 grand for the conversion.
Still, the printer is for sale at half what I see on the net now.
What I'm told is the the owner wants the wider LX850 instead.

The conversion will allow you to run the more opaque black inks as well as printing double size.

All things considered, I believe the LX610 is a very nice printer. It is fast and has few service related issues. It would have been nice if HP/Scitex had designed it to print to the floor instead of webbing; however, when printing expensive media like backlit film or canvas, you can always design a leader. I don't know what is considered a good price?
If you email me, I will let you know what we resell them for when we have one available.
